About Us

The Florence Pickleball Club (FPC) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization committed to developing pickleball in the Greater Florence Area. We provide free introduction to pickleball clinics for those interested, be it an individual or an organization. We have a Board of Directors as well as Covenants which we operate by. We are civic minded in that we provide volunteers for a wide variety of community activities and donate to several local charities. FPC has over 160 registered pickleball players and continues to grow. Our membership includes people of all ages, races and a wide range of nationalities, all joined by the enjoyment of this game. One of the fastest growing sports in America, with 8 million participants at the end of 2018, it is easily learned and fun to play whether on a recreational or a competitive level.

Our Mission

To promote the sport of pickleball in the Greater Florence Area for its positive physical and mental benefits as well as establishing a genuine fellowship between groups of all ages and ethnic origins. To promote knowledge of the sport through clinics, courses, instruction, tournaments and recreational play which will also improve skill levels and assure equality in competitive play.
